GO2 Booth at AMTS Show 2014

Day1 - lots of interest. Our Intelli-Cells and KUKA partner robotic demo carts were getting a lot of attention. Also on display were parts made by Falls Creek Machining, our in-house shop.

Custom Bottle Opener - I got mine!

GO2 LaserMark Intelli-Cell with KUKA Robot was popular. Show attendees interact with the machine by choosing a bottle opener or golf divot tool, entering their name, and then watch as the robot selected the correct blank and inserted it into the LaserMark. You can view the etching process. Completed part is then delivered to attendee. I got mine! Blanks were made by Falls Creek Machining on the Omax waterjet.

GO2 Technologies Installs OMAX 55100 Waterjet

GO2 Technologies' machining capabilities now include the OMAX 55100 JetMachining Center.

"This type of technology in our machine shop is paying off with faster turn arounds, higher precision, and the ability to cut a variety of materials in just one set-up," states owner Scott Schoessow. The Omax machine can cut materials up to 4' x 8' quickly and efficiently. Accepting either DXF or CAD drawings, the 55100 quickly creates cutting paths, making it ideal for short-run part production. It is designed for high-speed, precision machining. The GO2 machine is fitted with the optional Tilt-A-Jet® nozzle, which is a taper compensating abrasivejet cutting head.

"The best part about installing the waterjet in our shop," continues Scott, "is that our personnel were able to immediately run with it. Our depth of knowledge in the machining department is phenomenal."

GO2 Technologies Celebrates their New Location with an Open House

GO2 Technologies moved from their original location in Dayton, to their new facility in Vandalia, Ohio in the Fall of 2013.  An Open House celebration took place on October 24 at the new facility and was a well received and attended event.

GO2 Partners were invited to set up trade show type displays for the day.  These partners included ATI, Banner, Becker Electric, CBT, C&E Sales, Denso, Keyence, KUKA, Mitsubishi, Motoman, Siemans, SMC, Robeck Fluid Power, Rockwell Automation, Triad Technologies and Voelker Controls.

Tours, refreshments and demonstrations took place all day. Officials from the City of Vandalia were on hand to praise owners Scott Schoessow and Kent Walker with their vision to relocate to one of the fastest growing areas of West Ohio. A ribbon cutting ceremony completed the day.

Scott Schoessow explains the opportunities that the Vandalia location will provide: "This facility will benefit GO2 and our partners in many ways. We now have the space for our machining capabilities, and have nearly doubled the manufacturing and office areas. Vandalia is a great place for GO2 to enhance opportunities with suppliers, vendors and partners. Look for more exciting announcements from us in the near future."
